Little hearts big challenges: Navigating paediatric echocardiography with skill and sensitivity

5:00 PM - 5:10 PM

Presentation Synopsis / Abstract

Paediatric echocardiography can be challenging. Not only can the anatomy be complex but often CHD is associated with chromosomal or syndromal anomalies. Consequently, undergoing an imaging examination in a darkened room can be scarry for children, even if they only have a murmur. Various techniques will be presented to improve patient compliance and subsequent image quality.
