9:30 AM - 10:15 AM

Presentation Synopsis / Abstract

Hypertension is a leading risk factor for cardiovascular and renal disease, with renal artery stenosis being a significant secondary cause. This presentation explores the role of renal artery duplex, focusing on diagnostic accuracy, clinical applications, and limitations.

Within these the workshop will include hemodynamic principles, duplex criteria for stenosis, as well as scan technique during the live scanning, allowing for hands-on experience in image acquisition, technique optimization, and real-time interpretation.

This workshop aims to develop sonography skills, improve diagnostic confidence and clinical decision-making in hypertensive patient management.
