This masterclass will aim to cover everything from the basics of venous insufficiency scanning with tips and tricks through to complex recurrent varicose veins. We will also discuss unusual patterns of venous incompetence and venous malformations. Questions will be welcomed.

Ian trained and worked at the Princess Alexandra Hospital (Brisbane) vascular laboratory for five years. Following this he travelled to the UK and worked at a number of major public and private hospitals performing vascular ultrasound exams.
After four years in the UK, Ian returned to Brisbane and started working for Queensland Vascular Diagnostics. During his work in the UK and at QVD Ian has performed far too many venous insufficiency.

Mr Heath Edwards |
Queensland Vascular Diagnostics/Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital
Heath hails from Brisbane Queensland where he splits his clinical time between Queensland Vascular Diagnostics primarily and the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
He has presented at numerous local, national, and international events before and has a keen interest in optimizing patient symptomology with vascular ultrasound.
Heath is also a current member of the Vascular SIG.
