Where to measure, managing z scores in the fetal heart **NEW VOICE**
2:40 PM - 3:20 PMPresentation Synopsis / Abstract
Being able to produce accurate measurements of the cardiac structures in fetal echocardiography is necessary for the correct diagnosis in congenital heart disease and for determining the appropriate ultrasound surveillance and management pathways. This session will explain what the correct measurement planes are and how to obtain them and then how to apply Z scores meaningfully. A live scanning workshop will follow demonstrating the above and how attendees can optimise imaging planes based on gestational age and fetal position and how to use the Z score calculations to support their measurements.
