The ASA’s annual Emerging Presenters Showcase recognises the remarkable talent of emerging sonographers.

We are so excited to see the incredible work being produced by our emerging sonographers around Australia & New Zealand, and we cannot wait to showcase your skills to a wider audience. Participate in the showcase by prerecording a 5-10 minute presentation on an interesting case you’ve seen, research you’ve been involved in, or a completed project that could be expanded on or adapted.

By completing this registration form, you do not have to have your presentation ready to submit. This merely denotes your interest in being a presenter for the Showcase. All presentations must be submitted by 8 November, 2024.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your presentation skills, demonstrate your knowledge, and be in the running to win some amazing prizes!

Presentation Consent T&Cs

By clicking the Data Collection & Presentation Consent Declaration below, I confirm content of my presentation/s including photos, data, graphs etc. are generated by myself, referenced or the appropriate owner has granted me permission to include their work for educational purposes.

I confirm I have removed all identifiable patient information within my presentation including patient details, scan date and site location for confidentiality purposes.

In the event identifying features have been included within my presentation by the review panel, I agree to be contacted by the ASA Office and have the option to provide a new recording. Until this time, I understand that my video will need to be removed from publication. 

Promotion

I agree that my presentation/s will not include any form of promotion of my external business ventures such as marketing material, order forms, product or service promotion.

Conflict of Interest

I agree to declare any conflict of interest to the ASA office that may impact on my responsibilities to the ASA or the outcomes of the Association.

Recording on Website

I understand that by uploading my video presentation to be included in the ASA2024 Emerging Presenters Showcase, ASA members will be able to access and review my presentation as part of a webinar series for up to 3-years. After this time the series will be reviewed for relevancy by the Educational Advisory Committee.

After uploading this video the webinar recording remains the property of ASA.

Thank you for your interest in our Emerging Presenters Showcase. At present this endeavour is restricted to those presenters with limited experience outside of their local branch/workplace or with no prior presenting experience. 

Unfortunately the  Stduent component of the Emerging Presenters Showcase is only accepting submissions from current ultrasound students. If you are a qualified sonographer, please return and update your answer to the "Which Showcase are you submitting a presentation for?" page.
