11:50 AM - 12:40 PMAbstract
This workshop will demonstrate the views and techniques required to perform an accurate hip ultrasound for the assessment of hip dysplasia.
The major pitfalls and errors made when scanning will be demonstrated including scanning tricks to ensure the correct views are confidently obtained.
The various measurements will be demonstrated. Though I will touch on which measurements I use, the main focus will be on how to apply the measurements accurately rather than on which measurement to use.
An overview of the clinical examination will also be provided as correlation between the clinical presentation and ultrasound findings are essential.
